Wenger taunts Liverpool, tells fans to calm down

Wenger taunts Liverpool, tells fans to calm downLondon, Feb 4  : Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has asked team fans to calm down by citing the example of Liverpool who haven't won a league title for 22 years. Wenger is under pressure after his side failed to win the last four Premier Leaguegames, which agonized fans. Arsenal has not won the league for the last eight years and has been deprived of silverware for the last six years.

"I don''t look at the table. Never. It''s very tight, it''s like that. We are in January and it can happen that we are seventh. But we are in a competition with Liverpool, who have not won the league for 22 years," The Sun quoted Wenger, as saying. He advised Arsenal supporters to stay humble and fight hard to support their team. Wenger said he wants the supporters to be happy at the end of the season and failure to do so will make him unhappy as well.\

"You have always to be humble and fight hard and support your team. I believe that we have played some great football this season and we have to focus on that. Football is a happy moment where people come together to watch the team they love." "I am here to make all of the fans happy and when I do not manage to do it I am, of course, not happy. What is most important is that we have our fans happy at the end of the season," he added. (ANI)

Man U player loses lenses before game

Man U player loses lenses before gameLondon, Feb 4  : A player from Manchester United had accidentally dropped his contact lenses down a sink in the dressing room just before a big game.
The unnamed player was asked to put on the lenses during matches.
"One of the lads was prescribed contact lenses to wear during games," the Sun quoted coach Brian McClair as saying.
"Instead of trying them out during the week, he spent 45 minutes before a match attempting to put them in.
"A team-mate tried to help him out by holding his eye open, only for the lens to fall in the sink.
"I cannot comment on how this affected his performance," he added. (ANI)

Oz batting Achilles heel despite India’s whitewash: Article

Oz batting Achilles heel despite India’s whitewash: ArticleMelbourne, Feb 4 : Australia's batting remains its Achilles' heel despite its whitewash of India, an article in a daily has said.
The Sydney Morning Herald article written by Andrew Wu, however, admitted that the bowling attack has sharpened due to the recent resurgence of Peter Siddle and Ben Hilfenhaus.
It also said that Australia's wicket-keeping was also encouraging but admitted that rookie Matthew Wade is yet to gain a serious international exposure.
The article pointed out that England had successfully exploited Australia's weak batting to its advantage to win the 2011 Ashes series.
"The adage that bowlers win matches and batsmen save them could not ring more true when it comes to Australia''s recent Test record. If not for embarrassing collapses in Cape Town and Hobart, Michael Clarke would have been able to sign off on the first 12 months of his Test captaincy onthe back of eight straight victories and four series successes," the article added.
The article said though David Warner gave a spellbinding performance inthe Perth Test, it was largely the form of Australia''s senior trio of MichaelClarke, Ricky Ponting and Michael Hussey that led to Pakistan's defeat.
It added that Australia's chief selector John Inverarity''s record suggests that he takes into account the reputation rather than the form, whileselecting the team.
It cited the case of Peter Forest, who has been included in the squad despite averaging 36 in the first-class matches and failing to qualify for Australia A side. (ANI)

China prepares two thirds of London 2012 souvenirsLondon, Feb 4  : A majority of the 2012 Londonsouvenirs, including Union Jack-emblazoned tea cups, tea towels, crystal ware and fluffy toys are produced by workers abroad, mainly China.
According to a Daily Mail investigation, a mere nine per cent of the souvenirs are actually made in England. Sixty-two percent of them are made in China, nine percent in Turkey and four percentin Philippines. Countries such as India, Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand, Pakistan, Poland, Slovakia and Germany made the rest, including T-shirts, bags, hats, toys and games.
This has not only robbed England's craftsmen of an opportunity to showcase their workmanship to the world but thousands of jobs and millions of pounds worth of profitable contracts have also gone abroad.
Even well known names such as Wedgwood and Royal Doulton have resorted to foreign factories to produce their mementoes of the Games. The London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games (LOCOG) has envisaged collecting in one billion pounds in revenue and 86 million pounds profit from 2012 souvenirs. Various detractors have blamed the organizing committee for giving contracts just because of many household name of their British heritage and had shattered the chance to showcase local craftsmanship. The Olympics organizers, LOCOG has meanwhile pointed out that 90 per cent of the licenses are given to the British companies
or those, which provide work for British staff. (ANI)

Taliban Deny Their Leader Sent Letter to Obama

The Afghan Taliban on Saturday denied that their leader Mullah Omar had written to President Barack Obama last July.
Taliban spokesman Zabiullah Mujahid said reports that Omar had sent a letter indicating an interest in talks key to ending the war in Afghanistan were "baseless allegations."
"The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan is strongly condemning these rumors and allegations," Mujahid said in an email to media organizations, referring to the Taliban by the name Afghanistan had while under their rule.
He added that the reports were aimed at sowing confusion among Afghans.
Current and former U.S. officials told The Associated Press the letter purportedly from Omar was unsigned. It was passed through a Taliban intermediary and intended for the White House. The officials spoke on condition of anonymity because the letter and its contents are part of sensitive diplomacy with a fighting force that still targets U.S. troops.
The previously undisclosed communication was considered authentic by people who saw it, but skeptical administration officials said they cannot determine it actually came from Omar.
The Obama administration did not directly respond to the letter, two officials said, although it has broadened contacts with Omar's emissaries since then.ources who described the letter did not disclose its precise contents, but one current and one former official said it addressed Taliban willingness to build trust with the United States. One official said Omar complained that the United States had not done enough to establish good faith for negotiations, such as arranging the release of Taliban prisoners held in the U.S. military prison at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.
An administration official would say only that the message represented views consistent with what Taliban emissaries had been telling U.S. officials during the clandestine meetings. Those preliminary sessions opened the way for more formal talks that U.S. officials now publicly welcome.
A direct message from Omar could be a strong signal that the Taliban movement is interested in negotiation at the highest levels.
The Obama administration is trying to foster talks among the Taliban and the US.-backed government of Afghan President Hamid Karzai, but remains wary of Taliban motives.
Omar is the spiritual leader of the Taliban movement, and directs the organization's guerrilla military campaign. He was the de facto head of state in Taliban-controlled Afghanistan prior to the U.S. invasion that toppled the Taliban government in 2001. He has not been seen in public in years, and his exact whereabouts are unknown. He is wanted by the U.S. government for harboring Osama bin Laden and helping the al-Qaida terror network.
The Obama administration is now considering release of five top Taliban leaders from Guantanamo as a starting point for negotiations. The five would be sent to custody in the Gulf nation of Qatar, where the Taliban plan to establish a negotiating office. Republicans in Congress oppose the release of the prisoners.
AP National Security Writer Anne Gearan and AP Intelligence Writer Kimberly Dozier contributed to this report from Washington.

All People Read Most Query :-

Water much Drink :-

How much water should you drink each day? It's a simple question with no easy answers. Studies have produced varying recommendations over the years, but in truth, your water needs depend on many factors, including your health, how active you are and where you live.
Although no single formula fits everyone, knowing more about your body's need for fluids will help you estimate how much water to use drink each day.

Water :- benefits for Student & College Student:-

Water is your body's principal chemical component and makes up about 65 percent of your body weight. Every system in your body depends on water. For example, water flushes toxins out of vital organs, carries nutrients to your cells and provides a moist environment for ear, nose and throat tissues.Lack of water can lead to dehydration, a condition that occurs when you don't have enough water in your body to carry out normal functions. Even mild dehydration can drain your energy and make you tired.

water :-How do you need Question

Every day you lose water through your breath, perspiration, urine and bowel movements. For your body to function properly, you must replenish its water supply by consuming beverages and foods that contain water.
So how much fluid does the average, healthy adult living in a temperate climate need? The Institute of Medicine determined that an adequate intake (AI) for men is roughly 3 liters (about 13 cups) of total beverages a day. The AI for women is 2.2 liters (about 9 cups) of total beverages a day.

Question:- What about the advice to drink eight glasses a day

Everyone has heard the advice, "Drink eight 8-ounce glasses of water a day." That's about 1.9 liters, which isn't that different from the Institute of Medicine recommendations. Although the "8 by 8" rule isn't supported by hard evidence, it remains popular because it's easy to remember. Just keep in mind that the rule should be reframed as: "Drink at least eight 8-ounce glasses of fluid a day," because all fluids count toward the daily total.

Water: How much should you drink every day?

Factors that influence water needs

You may need to modify your total fluid intake depending on how active you are, the climate you live in, your health status, and if you're pregnant or breast-feeding. Exercise. If you exercise or engage in any activity that makes you sweat, you need to drink extra water to compensate for the fluid loss. An extra 400 to 600 milliliters (about 1.5 to 2.5 cups) of water should suffice for short bouts of exercise, but intense exercise lasting more than an hour (for example, running a marathon) requires more fluid intake. How much additional fluid you need depends on how much you sweat during exercise, and the duration and type of exercise. During long bouts of intense exercise, it's best to use a sports drink that contains sodium, as this will help replace sodium lost in sweat and reduce the chances of developing hyponatremia, which can be life-threatening. Also, continue to replace fluids after you're finished exercising. Environment. Hot or humid weather can make you sweat and requires additional intake of fluid. Heated indoor air also can cause your skin to lose moisture during wintertime. Further, altitudes greater than 8,200 feet (2,500 meters) may trigger increased urination and more rapid breathing, which use up more of your fluid reserves. Illnesses or health conditions. When you have fever, vomiting or diarrhea, your body loses additional fluids. In these cases, you should drink more water. In some cases, your doctor may recommend oral rehydration solutions, such as Gatorade, Powerade or CeraLyte. Also, you may need increased fluid intake if you develop certain conditions, including bladder infections or urinary tract stones. On the other hand, some conditions such as heart failure and some types of kidney, liver and adrenal diseases may impair excretion of water and even require that you limit your fluid intake. Pregnancy or breast-feeding. Women who are expecting or breast-feeding need additional fluids to stay hydrated. Large amounts of fluid are used especially when nursing. The Institute of Medicine recommends that pregnant women drink 2.3 liters (about 10 cups) of fluids daily and women who breast-feed consume 3.1 liters (about 13 cups) of fluids a day.

Beyond the tap: Other sources of water

Although it's a great idea to keep water within reach at all times, you don't need to rely only on what you drink to meet your fluid needs. What you eat also provides a significant portion of your fluid needs. On average, food provides about 20 percent of total water intake. For example, many fruits and vegetables, such as watermelon and tomatoes, are 90 percent or more water by weight. In addition, beverages such as milk and juice are composed mostly of water. Even beer, wine and caffeinated beverages — such as coffee, tea or soda — can contribute, but these should not be a major portion of your daily total fluid intake. Water is still your best bet because it's calorie-free, inexpensive and readily available.

Staying safely hydrated

Generally if you drink enough fluid so that you rarely feel thirsty and produce 1.5 liters (6.3 cups) or more of colorless or light yellow urine a day, your fluid intake is probably adequate. If you're concerned about your fluid intake or have health issues, check with your doctor or a registered dietitian. He or she can help you determine the amount of water that's right for you.

To ward off dehydration and make sure your body has the fluids it needs, make water your beverage of choice. It's also a good idea to:

Drink a glass of water or other calorie-free or low-calorie beverage with each meal and between each meal.
Drink water before, during and after exercise.

Although uncommon, it is possible to drink too much water. When your kidneys are unable to excrete the excess water, the electrolyte (mineral) content of the blood is diluted, resulting in low sodium levels in the blood, a condition called hyponatremia. Endurance athletes, such as marathon runners, who drink large amounts of water, are at higher risk of hyponatremia. In general, though, drinking too much water is rare in healthy adults who eat an average American diet.

Today our world is full of people with ill health, mental tension and psychological disorders. Life for many is a mad rush from one activity to another. Few care about acquiring a healthy body through healthy ways. I believe morning walk is one such means which can bring about a healthy body and thereby reduce the health disorders of our world.

The best time to go for morning walk is as soon as one gets up. It is better that one does not drink or eat anything before going for walk. One should also be very careful about the place where one takes walk. Preferably, it should be an open place with plenty of fresh and clean air. Gardens, parks, green belt areas, etc., are therefore, excellent places. Busy roads, congested residential areas, dirty streets, etc., should be avoided. One should also avoid busy public roads with early morning traffic.

Morning walk can be taken by anyone. There is no age limit. It is good for everyone. Morning walk is, however, most ideal and highly recommended for middle-aged and old people. It is good for persons working in offices, having more of mental work than physical work. Morning walk is an exercise and, therefore, it should not be too slow or too fast.

A medium pace should be kept throughout the walk. It is also important that one should walk alone and in case, there is a company one should not talk and converse during the walk. During the walk, the person should be more interested in getting exercise than enjoying the sights along the path.

Morning walk can immensely help a person’s health. It energizes his vital organs and the various systems and parts of the body. During sleep most of the organs and parts of the body are at rest and a walk in the morning can make them fresh again. It vitalizes our systems, such as, circulatory system, respiratory system, excretory system, etc.
It removes weariness and the feeling of dullness. The open fresh air refreshes our body and mind. It improves blood circulation and activates our muscles.

That is why, many patients are advised by doctors to go for morning walks. Morning walk has tremendous recuperating effect. The morning cool breeze, the fresh air, the charming sights at the dawn, etc., can do marvels to a patient.

One of the greatest merits of morning walk is that it refreshes not only our body but also soothes our burdened minds and tensioned hearts. Today mental problems outplace physical ailments and diseases in the world.

One of the best remedies for this universal phenomenon is morning walk. A good morning walk can do wonders with regard to mental health. Morning walk makes the person alive and fit for the day’s activity.
In a world of fast life, hectic activity and constant tension, a morning walk can act like a tranquillizer. It can dispel many of our physical and mental ills. More than anything else, morning walk makes us physically healthy, mentally fit and energetic. It is one of those good habits in life that we should try to acquire and maintain throughout our life.
